Where do the St. Louis Blues from here?

The St. Louis Blue season started to fall apart on Oct. 24. 

After opening the season with a trio of victories, the Blues lost eight in a row. They tried to rebound, they responded with a seven-game heater, but then lost six of seven between Nov. 23 and Dec. 5

St. Louis never recovered from valleys, and by February the Blues had become a seller with two of the bigger names available. 

Vladimir Tarasenko was sent the New York Rangers and Ryan O'Reilly shipped out to the Toronto Maple Leafs. While the season had started to fall apart much earlier, trading Tarasenko on Feb. 9 was officially the white flag. 

Causation or correlation, the Blues goaltending let them down.
