Round 2 Takeaways: How the Canadiens beat the Jets

As the playoff matchups in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs start to wrap up, we're going to draw takeaways from them by highlighting the key trends that helped push the winning teams over the top. Since styles tend to make fights this time of year, it's useful to identify which teams have specifically been doing well to generate their positive results. 

Rather than just running traditional recaps though, we'll try to spin it forward by pulling some actionable bits of information out that will be relevant for the following round(s) to come as well. 

In the opening round, we looked at how the Colorado Avalanche used their defensemen to throttle the St. Louis Blues, the importance of goaltending in a playoff setting, and the Tampa Bay Lightning's devastating power play.
