Trevor Zegras trade to Philadelphia Flyers makes sense for both sides

It finally happened and now we can stop hearing about it.

That second part might be wishful thinking, actually.

Trevor Zegras has been in trade rumors basically since he ended up on the cover of NHL 23. And now after years of prevarication, the Anaheim Ducks decided now was the time, at long last, to move on from the intriguing, frustrating, tantalizing talent. He goes to the Philadelphia Flyers — a regular Ducks trading partner these last few years — in exchange for Ryan Poehling, a second-round pick in this week's draft (45th overall), and a fourth-round pick next year.
