Where do the 2025 Los Angeles Kings go from here?

It feels like we've reached an inflection point.
This iteration of the Los Angeles Kings is a very good team, and perhaps even a great one. But you can't lose this often in the playoffs to the same team without maybe taking a different approach to how you build the roster. That's true even if the problem is, very obviously, that two of the three or four best players alive keep going psycho on you.
The good news for the Kings? They currently have almost $23.3 million in cap space and a lot of flexibility with the roster. Just one pending restricted free agent (Alex Laferriere) and a handful unrestricted, many of whom are depth players or probably won't cost very much.
