Elite Prospects 2025 OHL Priority Selection top 50 ranking

The 2025 OHL Priority Selection takes place this week, beginning on April 11th, and this year’s event is a special one.

It’s the most wide-open draft in recent memory, with no clear consensus on the top players available. Up until the OHL Cup a couple of weeks ago, there appeared to be as many as eight different candidates for the No. 1 overall pick — a list that has now been narrowed to five or six in the eyes of most.

It also marks the start of our CHL draft coverage here at Elite Prospects, with this being our first published ranking in the CHL draft space.

As with any draft ranking (and especially CHL draft rankings), this list will look quite different from how the actual draft plays out. At this level, players are even more dependent on landing in the right environment to succeed.
