Elite Prospects 2025 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 15-ranked Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild are seeing many of their drafted young talents arrive in Iowa and push for NHL roles, creating an internal competition that will force the best elements to rise above the pack. This will benefit the team in the long run. 

Players like Zeev Buium, Danila Yurov, and Liam Öhgren have the best chance to emerge and become key pieces next season, and we could see a couple of other higher-ranked AHLers move on to roles with the Wild over the next couple of years. 

The funnel may leave behind some other prospects, who won’t get the prime roles needed to fully develop. They could serve the team in other ways, as trade pieces or by bolstering the organization’s AHL club.
