On February 20, Sidney Crosby played his 1000th career game, a milestone that some thought the 33-year-old superstar would never reach. 

Crosby battled past injuries that stole a significant portion of his prime to put together a list of accomplishments almost unrivalled in the history of the sport - three Stanley Cups, two Olympic gold medals, a World Cup, two Harts, Art Rosses, Rocket Richard Trophies and Conn Smythes.
