Arturs Silovs called up to NHL – will play for Vancouver Canucks

Arturs Silovs, 21, is leaving the Abbotsford Canucks and moving up to play in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks, according to the team's Twitter account.
Silovs weighs 203 lbs and is 6'4". He first played for SK Riga.
Last season in AHL, international play and ECHL, the goaltender had a save percentage of .909 over 21 games with the Abbotsford Canucks, the Latvian national team and the Trois-Rivières Lions.
