Bridgeport Islanders claim Ken Appleby off waivers

Ken Appleby, 26, of the Worcester Railers, will now play for the Bridgeport Islanders, according to echl.com.
Appleby weighs 216 lbs and is 6'5".
Last season in AHL and ECHL, the goaltender had a save percentage of .917 over 21 games with the Bridgeport Islanders and the Worcester Railers.
He will reunite with former teammate Seth Helgeson, who played with Ken Appleby for the Albany Devils in the 2016-17 season.
