Calgary Flames rumoured to put the forward Kevin Rooney on waivers

According to the team's Twitter account, the Calgary Flames are rumoured to be dropping Kevin Rooney, 29, who is put on waivers.
Rooney is 6'2" and weighs 201 lbs.
He scored six goals and 12 points in 76 games for the New York Rangers last season.
