Carolina Hurricanes claim Calvin de Haan off waivers

Calvin de Haan, 31, of the Chicago Blackhawks, is changing teams. He will now play for the Carolina Hurricanes, according to the team's Twitter account.
De Haan is 6'1" and weighs 194 lbs. He first played for Ottawa Valley MHA.
He scored four goals and eight points in 69 games for the Chicago Blackhawks last season.
Calvin de Haan is the 27th player to be rostered for Carolina Hurricanes before this season. The Carolina Hurricanes have added Paul Stastny, Anttoni Honka, and Derek Stepan in the past month.
