David Cotton sent to AHL to play for Coachella Valley Firebirds

According to the team's homepage,the Carolina Hurricanes have reassigned David Cotton, 25, to the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Cotton is 6'3" and weighs 190 lbs.
He spent last season with the Chicago Wolves, scoring seven goals and 16 points in 55 games as a center.
