Defenseman Austin Strand now set to play for Anaheim Ducks

According to nhl.com, Austin Strand, 25, of the Los Angeles Kings, is changing teams and will now play for the Anaheim Ducks.

Strand weighs 216 lbs and is 6'3".

He scored three goals and nine points in 40 games for the Los Angeles Kings and the Ontario Reign last season.

With the Anaheim Ducks, he will once again be teammates with Josh Mahura, who he played with on the Red Deer Rebels in 2016-17.

Anaheim Ducks has already signed Colton White, Justin Kirkland, and Glenn Gawdin, among others, and now have 20 players under contract for this season.
