Detroit Red Wings rumoured to put the forward Givani Smith on waivers

According to the team's Twitter account, the Detroit Red Wings are rumoured to be dropping Givani Smith, 24, who is put on waivers.
Smith is 6'2" and weighs 216 lbs. He played on the youth club for Mississauga Senators MHA.
He scored four goals and seven points in 46 games for the Detroit Red Wings last season.
