Former Kristianstads IK player finds new home: will play in the United States

Olof Lindbom, 21, of the Kristianstads IK, will now play for the New York Rangers, according to the team's Twitter account.

Lindbom is 6'2" and weighs 183 lbs. He first played for Ekerö IK.

Last season in HockeyAllsvenskan, the goaltender had a save percentage of .895 over 28 games with the Kristianstads IK.

New York Rangers has already signed Adam Edström, and Ryder Korczak, and now have 34 players under contract for this season. The New York Rangers have added Adam Edström, and Ryder Korczak in the past month.
