Forward Jacob Smith now set to play for Merritt Centennials

According to the team's Twitter account, Jacob Smith, 17, of the Revelstoke Grizzlies, is changing teams and will now play for the Merritt Centennials.

Smith is 5'11" and weighs 154 lbs.

He scored 13 goals and 22 points in 55 games for the Revelstoke Grizzlies and the Trail Smoke Eaters last season.

Jacob Smith will once again be playing alongside Colton Phillips-Watts. During the 2019-20 season, they both played for the Kootenay Ice U18 AAA.

Merritt Centennials has already signed Aleksey Chichkin, and now have five players under contract for this season. The Merritt Centennials have added Aleksey Chichkin in the past month.
