Forward Matthew Savoie now set to play for Buffalo Sabres

Matthew Savoie, 18, of the Winnipeg Ice, is changing teams. He will now play for the Buffalo Sabres, according to nhl.com.
Savoie weighs 179 lbs and is 5'9". He first played for St. Albert MHA.
He spent last season with the Winnipeg Ice, scoring 35 goals and 90 points in 75 games as a center.
He will once again be teammates with Peyton Krebs, who he played with on the Winnipeg Ice in the 2019-20 season.
Buffalo Sabres has already signed Noah Östlund, Jiri Kulich, and Lawrence Pilut, among others, and now have 24 players under contract for this season.
