Latvian Dans Locmelis now set to play for Northern Michigan University

Dans Locmelis, 18, of the Luleå HF J20, will now play for the Northern Michigan University, according to the team's Twitter account.
Locmelis is 6'0" and weighs 170 lbs. He played on the youth club for Zemgale.
He scored 24 goals and 47 points in 74 games for the Luleå, the Luleå youth team, the Luleå youth team and the Latvian national team last season.
Dans Locmelis is the 15th player to be rostered for Northern Michigan University before this season. The Northern Michigan University have added Jakub Altrichter in the past month.
