Michael Chaput called up to NHL – will play for Pittsburgh Penguins

Michael Chaput, 29, is leaving the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and moving up to play in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins, according to the team's Twitter account.

Chaput weighs 198 lbs and is 6'2". He played on the youth club for Dauphins Deux Rives.

He played his latest season for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, nyttjas oftast som center and left wing and made two goals and nine points in 22 games in the AHL.
