Parker Wotherspoon called up to play for New York Islanders

Parker Wotherspoon, 24, is leaving the Bridgeport Islanders and moving up to play in the NHL for the New York Islanders, according to the team's Twitter account.
Wotherspoon weighs 190 lbs and is 6'2".
He has played the latest season in the Bridgeport Islanders, and made three goals and 16 points in 45 games in the AHL.
