Sampo Ranta sent to AHL – will play for Colorado Eagles

The Colorado Avalanche have reassigned Sampo Ranta, 22, to the Colorado Eagles, according to the team's Twitter account.
Ranta is 6'2" and weighs 194 lbs. He played on the youth team for VG-62.
He has played the latest season in the Colorado Avalanche, and made no points in five games in the NHL.
