Seattle Kraken recruit defenseman Justin Schultz from Washington Capitals

Justin Schultz, 32, of the Washington Capitals, will now play for the Seattle Kraken during the next two more the years, according to the team's Twitter account.

Schultz is 6'2" and weighs 194 lbs. He first played for Westside MHA.

He scored four goals and 23 points in 80 games for the Washington Capitals last season.

He will reunite with former teammates Jared McCann and Brandon Tanev, who played with Justin Schultz for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2019-20 season.

Justin Schultz is the 23rd player to be rostered for Seattle Kraken before this season. The Seattle Kraken have added Jacob Melanson, Ryan Winterton, and Martin Jones, among others in the past month.
