According to the team's Twitter account lämnar Ilya Samsonov, 25, the Washington Capitals.
Samsonov weighs 205 lbs and is 6'3". He first played for Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
Last season in NHL, the goaltender had a save percentage of .898 over 49 games with the Washington Capitals.
Ilya Samsonov is the 39th player to be rostered for before this season.
