University of Vermont claim Philip Törnqvist off waivers

According to the team's Twitter account, Philip Törnqvist, 20, of the Wichita Falls Warriors, will now play for the University of Vermont.
Törnqvist is 6'0" and weighs 181 lbs. He played on the youth team for Lund Giants HC.
He spent last season with the Maryland Black Bears and the Wichita Falls Warriors, scoring 20 goals and 33 points in 57 games.
He will once again be teammates with Luke Mountain, who he played with on the Maryland Black Bears in the 2020-21 season.
University of Vermont has already signed Lucas Jones, and now have 15 players under contract for this season.
