Victoriaville Tigres claim Éliott Simard off waivers

Éliott Simard, 17, of the Saint John Sea Dogs, is changing teams. He will now play for the Victoriaville Tigres, according to the team's homepage.
Simard is 5'8" and weighs 179 lbs.
He spent last season with the Lévis Chevaliers, scoring 22 goals and 55 points in 57 games as a right wing.
Victoriaville Tigres has already signed Jérémy Louchard, Dan Chrétien, and Jack Matsukubo, and now have eight players under contract for this season.
