Washington Capitals claim Simon Motew off waivers

Simon Motew, 19, of the Kitchener Rangers, is changing teams. He will now play for the Washington Capitals, according to nhl.com.
Motew weighs 183 lbs and is 6'0".
He scored five goals and 17 points in 65 games for the Kitchener Rangers last season.
Simon Motew is the 26th player to be rostered for Washington Capitals before this season. The Washington Capitals have added Peter Laviolette in the past month.
