Wayne Simmonds sent to AHL – will play for Toronto Marlies

According to the team's Twitter account,the Toronto Maple Leafs have reassigned Wayne Simmonds, 34, to the Toronto Marlies.
Simmonds is 6'3" and weighs 181 lbs. He played on the youth club for Toronto Aces MHA.
He scored five goals and 16 points in 74 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season.
