The AAA to pro hockey ladder continues to see some remarkable transformations — and the province of Québec is no exception.

The projected first-overall pick in the 2026 QMJHL Draft, Zaac Charbonneau, has already announced his tender agreement with the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks for the 2026-27 season. Meanwhile, his teammate at Mount St. Charles Academy, projected top-10 pick Thomas Boisvert, has garnered interest from USHL teams looking to offer him a different development avenue to the QMJHL route.

The two 15-year-olds are tearing up their age group in the New England Prep School circuit, both scoring above two points per game at the 15U AAA level. While Boisvert leads the way with 121 points in 52 games to Charbonneau’s 81 in 40, the latter’s play earned him a three-game callup to Mount
