Our Commitment: A Safe Global Hockey Community Elite Prospects (EP) is dedicated to providing a secure digital environment for athletes, families, and professionals. We recognize the responsibility that comes with connecting the global hockey community. Our approach is built on "Safety by Design," integrating proactive safeguards directly into our platform to align with international standards, including the U.S. Center for SafeSport and the "Rule of Two."

The Core Standard: Open, Observable, and Interruptible To protect minors (users under 18), EP has fundamentally structured its messaging system to prevent isolation. No adult should ever have private, unobservable communication with a minor on our platform.

• Automatic Oversight: When an adult messages a minor, the conversation is never secret. The minor’s parent or guardian is automatically notified and provided visibility into the correspondence.

• Parental Oversight: Minors cannot initiate or accept direct messaging with adults until a parent or guardian has verified the account and joined the conversation.

• Group Safety: Group chats are configured to prevent scenarios where an adult and a minor can be isolated together without third-party visibility.

Expectations for Adult Users We expect all adults—coaches, scouts, agents, and staff—to interact with minors professionally and transparently.

While EP provides the architecture for transparent communication, adult users remain responsible for adhering to the specific safeguarding regulations of their governing bodies (such as SafeSport, MAAPP, or Abuse-Free Sport). We encourage all users to treat the EP platform as a professional workspace where every interaction is subject to scrutiny.

Active Enforcement & Reporting Elite Prospects takes user safety seriously. We prioritize the review of any reports involving minors. We reserve the right to suspend accounts for inappropriate behavior, attempts to circumvent safety tools (such as moving conversations to unmonitored private apps), or violations of our community standards.
