Czechoslovak defenceman of german nationality. Respected as the best offensive defenceman in 30´. Along with his teammates from german team Troppauer EV: Willhelm Heinz (F), Hans Mattern (F) and Johann Lichnowski (F) represented Czechoslovakia. Studied in Munchen. Expelled from University because of collaboration on Adolph Hitler´s coup d´état in 1923. Later member of NSDAP. Expelled from Czechoslovakia after WW2. Died in Berlin (1964), but buried in Opava according to his last wish. (Jan Jech)
