A right-handed defenseman with good size. Likes the offensive side of the game, and plays hard. Has a good shot from the point and is an asset with the man advantage. Solid leadership abilities.
Lacks a bit in intensity and foot speed. Can cough up the puck at the wrong time. At times plays a risky game with the puck. (EP 2010)
