Always in motion and armed with a powerful shot, Doan’s a consistent scoring threat in the USHL. Doan shows passing skill with slip passes and quick passes to the inside, although he’s more facilitator than creator. A consistent presence on the forecheck, he rips away possession, seals off defenders, then works the puck back to the inside. -EliteProspects 2021 NHL Draft Guide
