Folke Blomqvist Biography and Trivia

Började sin hockeybana i Rättvik men hämtades ner till Södertälje SK 1950 av "Jana" Jansson. Där kom han oftast att vara reserv tillsammans med Hans Lenkert och Stig Schill vilket fick Blomqvist att återvända hem till Rättvik redan efter en säsong.

Kom senare att spela några säsonger med Mora IK innan det åter igen blev allsvenskt spel under åren 1961-1963, denna gång hette klubben Morgårdshammars IF.

Avslutade sedan sin tid som spelare tillsammans med bl a Jan-Olov Kroon och bröderna Christer och Thommy Abrahamsson i Godtemplarnas IF från Falun.

Bor i Falun.
