Jiricek worked mainly defensively, had no problem clearing the defensive zone, and under pressure from forecheckers he was able to bring calm even in a very difficult situation. He used his range again in battles for loose pucks or battles along the boards. His constant scanning minimized the danger in the defensive zone, which was his biggest strength in this game. -EliteProspects 2022 NHL Draft Guide
