Stuart Craig was a businessman who ran the family business, Craig Broadcast Systems Inc. He became a co-owner of the Brandon Wheat Kings on June 7, 1974 when he acquired the franchise together with Bob Cornell, Glen Fowler, Bruce Kent, Dave Laing, Glenn Lawson, Clair Murray and Ross Mitchell. The owners sold the franchise to Jack Brockest on January 11, 1979.
He became the co-owner of the franchise again in August 1986. He, Bob Cornell and Dave Laing bought the franchise from local investors for 300,000 Canadian dollars. Cornell bought out the other owners in 1991.
Craig, 66, died on October 30, 1999.
