Graham S. Lee is a Canadian businessman who made his fortune in real estate. He was the driving force behind building a new arena in Victoria, BC, in the early 2000s. Unable to secure a WHL franchise to play in the arena, he acquired an ECHL franchise, the Baton Rouge Kingfish, from Lauren Bolduc and Scott Bolduc on June 10, 2003. He relocated the franchise following one season voluntary suspension of operations.
Lee acquired a WHL franchise, the Chilliwack Bruins, from Jim Bond, Brian Burke, Moray Keith, Darryl Porter and Glen Sather in April 20, 2011 and relocated it to Victoria, BC. His newly acquire WHL franchise, subsequently known as the Victoria Royals, replaced his ECHL franchise, the Victoria Salmon Kings, as the arena tenant, which led to withdrawing from the ECHL on May 6, 2011.
