Richard Oland

Richard Henry Oland, the son of the former Moosehead Breweries owner Philip Oland, inherited one third of the brewery in late 1996 and became a part owner of the Halifax Mooseheads major junior hockey franchise. In 2003 the he and his brother Derek Oland sold the franchise to former NHL player and executive Bobby Smith. Richard Oland was found dead in his office on July 7, 2011.
