Léo-Guy Morrissette and his brothers Carol, Georges , Jean-Claude, Jocelyn, Pierre and Régis became the owners of the Laval Titan QMJHL franchise in 1985. He bought his brothers' shares in the franchise in the mid 1990s.
After moving the franchise from Laval, Quebec, to Bathurst, New Brunswick, he sold the franchise to his children Annie Morrissette-Hébert and Stéphane Morrissette in March 2009, only to reacquire the franchise from them a year later. He finally sold the franchise to local investors in 2013.
Morrissette died on October 12, 2024.
