Tim Berryman was a American football player and a business executive before becoming also hockey executive and a franchise owner.
He and his brother Dave became minority owners (25%) of the Louisiana IceGators in 1995. He was also the Vice President the franchise alongside his brother, before he and his brother resigned on December 9, 1997, after having agreed to sell their stake to the other owners, Logan Nichols, Ernie Parker and Bob Wright.
The brothers moved on from Louisiana, after they were granted an ECHL expansion franchise, which became the Arkansas RiverBlades. He sold his stake in the franchise (49%) to Equity Broadcasting on March 30, 2000. Dave sold his stake (51%) to the same company in November 2001. The franchise folded after the following season.
