James L. Dolan

James L. Dolan, the son of Charles F. Dolan, became the Director of the Cablevision Systems Corporation and was named CEO of the company in 1995. He was the President of the company from 1998 to 2014. In 1999 Dolan became more directly involved in hockey when he was named the Chairman of the Madison Square Garden, LP, and in turn the New York Rangers. The Dolans are the controlling owners of the New York Rangers through their ownership of B class shares of the The Madison Square Garden Company, which spun-off from Cablevision in 2010.
