Francis A. Nelson was the vice-president of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) from 1903 to 1905 and the vice-president of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) from 1914 to 1915. He passed away on April 14, 1932. Nelson was posthumously inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder category in 1947.
