James Archibald Dunn developed amateur ice hockey in his hometown, Winnipeg. After many years spent in Manitoba Amateur Hockey Association in the 1950's Dunn held various positions in the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association. Dunn was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder category in 1968. He passed away on January 7, 1979.
