Edith Kimm and her husband Simon Kimm became the majority owners of the EC Kassel Huskies in 1996. They sold the team to Rainer Lippe in 2005. They became involved with the team again following the team bankruptcy in 2010. They sold their ownership in the team again in Joe Gibbs between 2014 and 2017.
