Larry Revo Facts
Larry Revo made his fortune in wine and spirits business. He bought the Roanoke Valley Rampage from Henry Brabham for $250,000 in the summer of 1992. He considered selling the franchise after poor performance on and off the ice, but opted to relocate the franchise to Huntsville, Alabama, and rename it the Huntsville Blast.
Revo considered selling the franchise to local investers, but they were willing to pay only $500,000 for it. He decided to sell the franchise to David Elmore for $800,000 on May 25, 1994.
