Down 3–0 heading into the third period, Boston mounted a remarkable comeback driven by Zacha's clutch pair of power-play goals. His first cut the lead to 3–2; his second — a tip of Charlie McAvoy's shot that deflected in off Zacha's stick in the right circle — tied the game with just 11 seconds left in regulation and simultaneously registered as the 400th point of his NHL career. Viktor Arvidsson assisted all three goals in the comeback and then won it in the shootout, completing the stunning 4–3 victory.
