Trailing 3-2 with under two minutes left, Celebrini took a pass at the top of the left circle and beat Lukas Dostal with a wrist shot — his 40th of the season, the first Shark to reach that mark since Joe Pavelski in 2013–14 — to tie it at 3-3 with 1:39 remaining. Just 68 seconds later, he found Wennberg in the high slot for the game winner. The four-point performance pushed Celebrini to 105 points, surpassing Erik Karlsson for the second-highest single-season point total in franchise history.
