Martone Records First NHL Point in Second Career Game · Apr. 2, 2026

Playing his home debut at Xfinity Mobile Arena just days after signing his entry-level contract, 19-year-old Porter Martone fired a shot on net that deflected off Travis Konecny and past John Gibson to make it 3-2 at 10:29 of the third. The goal was initially waved off for goaltender interference before a successful coach's challenge reversed the call. Martone, who led the game with nine shots on goal, tallied the assist as his first NHL point in only his second career game.
