Trailing 2-0, Utah Mammoth center Logan Cooley scored late in the first period to cut the deficit, then tied it 2-2 early in the second by one-timing a rebound into an open net — igniting a six-goal run that gave Utah a commanding 6-2 win. Cooley added an assist on Dylan Guenther's 5-2 goal and finished with three points on the night, his third straight multi-point game. It was his 21st and 22nd goals of the season as the Mammoth maintained their five-point cushion in the Western wild card.
