Just four games into his NHL career after signing his entry-level contract the previous week, the 19-year-old Flyers forward converted the decisive chance on a 5-on-3 power play in overtime — tucking a rebound past Joonas Korpisalo after his first attempt was stopped. Martone became the first player in Flyers history to score his first NHL goal in overtime, and at 19 years, 161 days old, the second-youngest in league history to do so.
