Suzuki Reaches 100 Points, First Canadien in 40 Years to Do So · Apr. 12, 2026
With the score still 0-0 deep into the second period at UBS Arena, Nick Suzuki took a feed from Juraj Slafkovský and tapped it home at 15:56 — his 29th goal of the season, and his 100th point. The milestone made him the first Canadiens captain in franchise history to hit the century mark, and the first Canadiens player in over 40 years to do so, with Mats Naslund last hitting triple digits in 1985-86. Suzuki is only the fifth player in the 108-year history of the franchise to reach 100 points in a season, joining Guy Lafleur, Peter Mahovlich, Steve Shutt, and Naslund.
